Casey Rojas

Staff Software Engineer at Intuit · Charlotte, NC

I build backend systems that move money.

I've spent the last seven years on CK Money — Credit Karma's banking product, now part of Intuit — building the digital wallet, check deposit, Paycheck Advance, and the TurboTax refund advance flow, while helping pull our banking monolith apart into event-driven services. Mostly Scala, some TypeScript, a lot of Kafka. Lately a good chunk of my time goes to AI tooling: chat integrations, Claude Skills, and MCP servers.

Before fintech I spent nine years at Info Tech on bid software that handles billions in state DOT contracts — desktop apps, PDF internals, and more Perl than I'd care to admit.

Based in Charlotte. Always happy to talk shop about any of it.
